In 1919, the landmark Algonquin Hotel became the site of the Algonquin Round Table, a celebrated group of journalists, authors, publicists, and actors who met regularly to discuss ideas that were ultimately disseminated across the country.  Members of this circle included Dorothy Parker; Harpo Marx; playwrights Marc Connelly and Donald Ogden Stewart; and New Yorker editor Harold Ross.

Algonquin 3.0 is a continuation of the spirit of the original Algonquin Round Table events.  Hosted by Liz Kaplow, president of Kaplow Communications, Algonquin 3.0 gathers leaders within media, technology and entertainment for provocative discussions that set the tone for what’s to come and where these industries are headed.
